AMS water level and product/water interface meters use lightweight, aluminum reel construction. There are no plastic faceplates or plastic hubs to break. They feature a folding, ergonomic 4in crank handle that makes sampling deep wells a breeze. Both meters have precision-sealed, double-ball bearings that allow for easy and smooth winding. Their aluminum reel will operate smoothly for years, where as plastic reels are likely to wear out. They are also ideal for direct push drilling activities, either through tooling or through monitoring wells. The 5/8in water level meter has a total well depth indicator that allows the user to get both a water level reading and a total depth reading with only the one meter. Lower the probe once and get two readings with one instrument. So there is no need to buy a tag line separately. With zero displacement readings, the 7/16in water level meter probe does not affect the static water level by more than 0.005in. AMS product/water interface meters, also known as oil/water interface meters, are similar to AMS water level meters, but they also allow you to get quick readings through heavy oils while preventing false readings with the unique sensitivity control. This meter also has a unique oil shedding design with the most rugged impact-resistant shroud on the market – combining two features only found separately on other meters. For unusual water/viscous oil conditions, an internal water sensitivity adjustment can be used to provide quicker and more accurate readings.
