The PowerCore Asphalt & Concrete Coring System is a convenient, cost efficient method for retrieving a soil sample covered by concrete pavement. Rather than having to remove large sections of the concrete or asphalt, simply bore through a small area of the pavement and collect multiple clean core samples. The PowerCore Asphalt & Concrete Coring System mounts to any any compact, mid or full-sized pickup truck or trailer. A unique and versatile mounted slider system allows for easy in-and-out as well as side-to-side motion. This allows the user to take multiple samples without having to reposition their rig. Two rear-mounted outrigger jacks increase stability. Front-mounted outrigger jacks can be added for additional stability. They also make loading, unloading, and storage of the PowerCore system quick and simple.

    PowerCore 9410
    The PowerCoreTM 9410 allows you to limit the number of employees needed on site. Each model is set up with our standard direct push capability by using a 200 ft-lb. hydraulic hammer along with a 2400 ft-lb. hydraulic core motor that can core through concrete and asphalt to allow access for the collection of intact continuous soil cores. The PowerCoreTM 9410 model has all the same features and robust design as our direct push machines. It’s powered by a Kohler KDI 1903 (Tier4F) Turbo Diesel engine that provides plenty of power. It powers a 3,000 ft-lb torque auger motor at 50 RPM on low, 150 RPM on high, and a 3rd position for high-speed coring up to 650 RPM. Matched with our 200 ft-lb direct push hammer, new 72” stroke mast oscillation design, and optional 3,000 ft-lb overhead winch system makes this the most versatile truck-mounted PowerCoreTM we have ever built. Also available is our mast mounted auto-drop hammer to access all of the geotechnical demands in today’s market. All trailer and truck-mounted models can be customized with on-board generators, a slurry-vac system, a 75-gallon fresh-water tank, a 75-gallon recovery waste-water tank, tooling racks, and lockable aluminum storage compartments to fit your specific needs.     PowerCore 9400
    The PowerCoreTM 9400 allows you to limit the number of employees needed on site. This asphalt & concrete coring system provides a convenient, cost-effective method for retrieving a sample of concrete or asphalt for materials tests, or to collect soil samples from below the pavement. Rather than having to remove large sections of the concrete or asphalt, simply core a small-diameter hole. Then you can collect clean core samples or easily collect intact concrete and asphalt cores for testing and sampling. The PowerCoreTM 9400 is set up with a high-speed hydraulic core motor and our standard direct push 90 ft-lb. hydraulic hammer used for direct push soil sampling so you can collect semi-undisturbed soil samples below the surface. All trailer and truck-mounted models can be customized with on-board generators, a slurry-vac system, a 75-gallon fresh-water tank, a 75-gallon recovery waste-water tank, tooling racks, and lockable aluminum storage compartments to fit your specific needs.
