New Videos for AMS Dredges
Simple How-To videos for the AMS 25 lb. Bottom Dredge and the Ekman Dredge are now available. AMS dredges allow you to easily sample in silt, sand, and other non-cohesive sediments. They are lowered onto the sediment, and two-way spring-loaded mechanism prevents accidental closure of the sampler during decent and triggers the closure of the dredge upon contact with the bottom.

NEW AMS Hay & Forage Probes
AMS hay & forage probes are ideal for obtaining 12” or 24” representative core samples for quick visual inspection and laboratory analysis. The basic model is a 7/8” OD probe with a heat-treated serrated tip and chamfered extraction slot. The deluxe model includes the same probe body, a (1 liter) plastic canister capable of holding approximately 20 cores. Both models require 1/2" chuck drills for operation (24V recommended).

AMS Adjustable Foot Step
The AMS adjustable foot step works on all 7/8” diameter AMS soil probes and 5/8” AMS extensions. The adjustable foot step allows for additional down pressure to be used to drive the probe. The foot step can be adjusted to fit anywhere on the soil probe or extension so that deeper samples can be taken.

AMS Well Vault Key
The NEW AMS well vault key comes with handle grips and powder coated orange, includes 1/2" and 9/16” sockets in the convenient storage just below the handle. This tool is used to safely take out the bolts on a well. The well vault key keeps you up off the ground while working instead of on your hands and knees – avoiding the the risk of being hit by a car or truck. The well vault key also prevents knuckle scrapes and other hand injuries when conventional wrenches slip off the well vault bolt head.

AMS Dual Purpose Replaceable Tip Soil Recovery Probes are soil probes that can be used with or without liners, and allow for the tip of the soil probe to be replaced after heavy use! These soil probes also feature the AMS "Reach and Grab" system which allows the plastic liner to protrude from the top of the soil probe body into the top cap. This system makes it easy to remove the liner from the soil probe body without disturbing the sample.
