Description
Built-in foot steps allow for additional pressure to be exerted while driving soil probes into the soil. There are two and one-piece models available. The two-piece model includes a 10" rubber-gripped cross handle. The same handle is welded to the one-piece model. Both step probe models have an outer diameter of 7/8" and cut a 5/8" X 12" soil core. This specific soil probe is constructed of nickel-plated chromoly and has heat-treated tips.

Probe seems well-built. It has been easy to take cores that are simple to remove in the short time I've had it. Only issue is that the screw on handle doesn't line up parallel with the step when fully tightened. Otherwise, a solid product.
