The Auto-Field Sampler (AFS) is a smart, cost-effective solution for farmers, agronomists, and service providers ready to upgrade from manual soil sampling—especially for single-depth grid sampling. Featuring an automatic soil probe, the AFS collects 5/8 in. (15.88 mm) diameter soil core samples from depths of 0–12 in. (0–30.48 cm) in just 5.5 seconds, streamlining the entire process.

Designed for ease of use and operator comfort, the AFS is controlled directly from your carrier vehicle. Using the intuitive control switch, press and hold the down arrow to drive the soil probe into the ground, then press and hold the up arrow to retrieve it. Each core sample is automatically deposited into a collection container, which holds approximately 6–10 samples before it needs to be emptied. When full, simply transfer the samples to lab containers and reinsert the collection container to resume sampling without interruption.
