Mini Soil Probe Kit Model 1

This Mini Soil Probe Kit offers a small compact solution for your soil sampling needs. All components in this kit are interchangeable and fit inside of a Small Aluminum Carrying Case (sold separately). The soil probe measures 1” X 14” with a 12” sample window and is constructed of thick .109w chromoly that has been nickel-plated for corrosion resistance. This soil probe has a chamfered plug welded in at the top of the sample window for clean sample recovery.

The 1-1/4" X 18" Triple Lead Flighted Auger is constructed using high carbon steel and a precise heat-treating process. Lead augers may be used to pre-bore holes in compacted soil conditions. The extensions in this kit are 7/8" X 1’ chromoly steel with 5/8” male/female threaded connections. Longer extensions are available if needed. The 10" cross handle is powder-coated chromoly and has been fitted with rubber grips for operator comfort. Choose from standard, oversized, clay, mud, and serrated tips for your specific soil conditions.
