Drillers applaud the 9520-VTR direct push rig for meeting production expectations and more in hollow stem augering and geotechnical applications. The 9520-VTR comes equipped with an 80 in. mast stroke and 48,000 lbs. of pulling capacity. This track-mounted rig utilizes a smaller carrier and has increased benefits of more horsepower, dual dozer blade, auxiliary output connections, updated load sensed hydraulics, and improved fuel economy and emissions. Customers have also added the additional capabilities of mud-rotary, coring, and DTH to telescopically penetrate through tougher soil conditions to reach maximum sampling depths.
