Description
The one-way valved sampler tips and valved sampler auger tips help retain samples in loose, unconsolidated materials, when pushing or augering, respectively. These tips are made of 300-series stainless steel.
AMS also offers a Multi-Stage Sludge & Sediment Sampler that uses the same base section as the Multi-Stage Soil Core Sampler. The Multi-Stage Sludge & Sediment Sampler has a special vented top cap and allows for the use of a plastic core catcher that improves recovery of relatively undisturbed samples in non-cohesive, saturated materials.
