3' Hollow Stem Lead Flighted Auger Complete

The Hollow Stem Lead Auger is capable of creating a cased borehole to a depth of 3' with an inner and outer diameter of 1-1/8" and 3", respectively. Soil, gas, and groundwater samples may be collected through the cased borehole. The Hollow Stem Lead Auger Section includes a 5/8" Threaded Male to SDS-Max Drill Adapter, 3' Hollow Stem Flighted Auger Extension, 3' Hollow Stem Auger Inner Rod, Plug, Top Cap, Retainer Fitting, Wire-Lock Clevis Pin, and Cutting Tip. All of the components included in the Hollow Stem Lead Auger Section are also included in the Hollow Stem Flighted Auger Kits.
